Each holiday season, we take time out of our busy lives to consider all the good things we have.
I like to take time to consider all the ways people have disappointed me this past year. Props to the Financial Times who’ve really nailed down the art of shitlisting.
I got a lot of problems with you people! NOW you’re going to hear about it!
Drivers have often been a reliable disappointment for me, like many, each and every year. Whether its inattentive drivers almost sideswiping the pedestrian me on turns, or asshats taking over the bus lane on Heron (there’s a reason why nobody else is using that lane, bud), I have been truly impressed at the new heights of incompetence behind the wheel this year.
Getting down from my former eighth-floor apartment earlier this year was often peeving due to the strangely high number of able-bodied people on the second and third floors of my building who don’t know about the stairs (or that you can open the lobby doors without using the wheelchair button.)
Fortunately I’ve since relocated to a low-rise building where people not only use the stairs, but also manage to open doors without mechanical help.

You folks know who you are. Knock it off.
People who ask “why doesn’t the media cover ___”
People who ask why the media doesn’t cover more “positive stories”.
Facebook moms who believe local businesses should be shielded from any negative reviews.
Have a great 2019!
